This spring filtration system in Nigeria that was funded by the Rotary Club of the Bronx became the flagship for a District project.
Over an almost 3 year period since the Utumishi Rotary Club reached out to the Rotary Club of the Bronx for help with their ambitious spring filtration project, the project saw a groundswell of support from many Clubs in our District and even from a Club in Italy. This was largely due to the efforts of our Club member Amir Asadi. With a matching grant from Rotary International, enough funds were raised to build 18 additional filtration systems.
