A #JulyRewind of meetings and activities for The Rotary Club of the Bronx during the month of July!

🌟 Opening the Rotary Year with a business meeting on July 1 to map the year ahead.
🌟 Listening to a presentation on the American flag from Tommy Vivolo of the Leonard B. Hawkins Post 156 of the American Legion on July 15 ~ and offering support to the Legion for its outreach to veterans and their families. This Legion Post helped with our "Flags for Heroes" display on City Island in the Bronx, NY.
🌟 Exchanging flags with Rajeshree Barot of the Rotary Club of Bombay Pier, India, on July 22. Rajeshree’s daughter, Keiya, joined the meeting as well. The two explained their family’s long connection to Rotary – dating back to a great grandfather’s membership and service programs he initiated. And we celebrated Bronx Rotary Club members' July birthday at that meeting!
🌟 Visiting the City Island Nautical Museum on July 29, learning about the history of City Island, including oystering, shipbuilding and more ~ and offering a donation in support of their efforts to preserve City Island's nautical history.
