On this Flag Day, a look back at the June 13 installation of 'Flags for Heroes' at the Catherine Scott Promenade on City Island in the Bronx, NY, an annual project of the Rotary Club of the Bronx.
Led by the Club's President Monica Glick, Bronx Rotary Club members placed 43 U.S. flags in that park area, offering gratitude for the assistance again this year of the Sons of the American Legion from the Leonard H. Hawkins American Legion Post 156 on City Island. The flags will remain in place through the Fourth of July.
